The Nebraska Football program is hoping for a revival. They went through some of the worst years in the history of the program under Head Coach Bill Callahan. And now the job is Bo Pelini 's to restore the tradition. Bo called into the Jungle on Thursday to talk about just how he plans on doing that.
Bo said something interesting to me in the first answer of the interview. He said he is going about 'changing the culture' of the team to one that believes it can win. That is something you would have never thought you would hear coming from the Head Coach at Nebraska. They were so good and so proud for so long, you never thought there would ever be a time when the culture needing changing.
Bo said the expectations, in the state of Nebraska, is for that football team is to win a National Championship and he wouldn't have it any other way. He wants there to be that pressure to return to a championship team and he thinks the team can do that soon.
