All-Star Shortstop J.J. Hardy is having another good year for the Brewers, a team who is trying to make it to the post-season for the first time since 1982. J.J. called into the Jungle on Tuesday to talk about the team's play here in September and to talk about their pitching sensation CC Sabathia.
J.J. told me that he has never seen a pitcher as dialed-in as Sabathia has been since he got to the club. I don't think there is a trade in the history that made a bigger impact then CC he has been incredible!
The Brewers had a very good August and gave themselves some room in that race for the Wild Card spot. But they have been struggling in September. J.J. said he would rather get their team slump over with in early September and play well late than do the opposite. That will work if they can start playing well.
