The Buffalo Bills are 3-0 for the first time since 1992. They pulled off big comeback on Sunday against the Raiders and look to be a team headed for the post-season for the first time in 8 years. One of the big reasons for their fast start is their defense. Safety Donte Whitner is a big hitter and is having another big season. He called into the Jungle on Monday to talk about the team's first start.
Donte talked about the team's confidence late in games and admitted that last year or the year before they probably would not have overcome a 9-point deficit with six minutes to go. Trent Edwards has turned into a great closer in just his second year and the team has all the confidence in the world in him.
Donte was the one that had guaranteed back in July that the Bills would make the playoffs. And his prediction is looking pretty good as of now. Donte said he was looking to send a message to his teammates and to express just how much better he thought the team was coming into camp.
