There’s any number of topics I could burn on to end the show today. But right now, I really don’t want to talk about the NFL, college football, or the NBA. No, I’d rather talk about Sammy Sosa’s face. What happened to it?! His picture was taken at an event in Las Vegas recently. I thought what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Well, that applies to Sammy’s face too. Sammy, the King of Pop called. He wants his face back.
A former Cubs employee, who is friends with Sosa says it’s no big thing. Sammy’s just doing a little maintenance, quote: “He is going through a rejuvenation process for his skin. Women have it all of the time. He was surprised he came out looking so white. I thought it was a body double. Part of it is just the lighting.”
Playing the ol’ must have been the lighting…card, ehhh? Right. Millions and millions of people have walked down the red carpet and none of them have been photographed looking like that. You want to moisturize, fine…but whatever you’re doing to your face, Sammy you need to stop immediately. And yes, I’m the guy who always said, personal appearances are not show fodder…but someone needs to pull Sammy Sosa off his own face.
Look, we’ve all had our moments in Vegas where we looked like we were dead, felt like we were dead or even wished we were dead, but they’re usually in the security line at McCarines. My man, I know you did some pretty jacked up things to your body during your career…but c’mon…Bruce Jenner thinks you look unnatural. Mix in the sun.
