Interviewed by Jungle Guest Host: Roger Lodge / Head Coach Seattle Supersonics / P.J. talks about getting the head coach job with the Seattle Supersonics, it being an attractive job with the new management willing to be long term to make the team better and get back to where they have been in the past…plus the great fan support in the Seattle market. P.J. went onto talk about the long process getting into this position working with General Manager Sam Presti and team owner Clay Bennett. P.J. also talked about his new coaching style gained from the last 7 year learning process working television and being an Assistant Coach. He gave his take on the Sonics #2 NBA 2007 draft pick Kevin Durant and what he expects to get out of him on and off the floor. P.J. then talked about the winning coaches in the league and their accomplishments with the great rosters they have in a “Player’s League”. / 7-9-2007
