Steve talked about what it was like while he was away from Houston playing in Orlando and New York and being able to observe and learn. Steve talked about the other offers on the table, but what it came down to was “being comfortable”. Steve talked about being able to play with Yao Ming again and spoke about his development with the team. On Tracy McGrady, Steve and him said they both have the goal of getting the Rockets to a championship level. Steve talked about his 2nd career game taking on Karl Malone of the Utah Jazz and realizing he had made it to the NBA. Steve talks about his physical condition right now after being pretty beat up last season. Steve talks about what type of coach a player wants to play for in the NBA. Steve gave his thoughts on the Michael Vick situation…saying he’s a great player that made the wrong decision and the wrong time.
