Ron Artest

Nice to see a couple of my favorite guys pick up a beaten down Tiger Woods! Ron Artest has his back, and even went as far as to call him a stand-up guy. Ron-Ron, you forgot “courageous…classy…heroic…impeccable…astounding and dauntless”! Ron, I respect that this is your guy, he was there for you when you needed it, and now you’re returning the favor. You know who your friends are when the bullets start flying and who’s headed for the hills. I get that. I respect that. I’ve been there. But what’s less stand up than running around on your wife and kids, living a secret double-life, refusing to talk to authorities after bouncing your whip off a fire hydrant and tree, being embroiled in one of the biggest sports scandals ever, and then going into hiding, refusing to get in front of a single camera and releasing a couple of lame statements via your website?!
You’re confusing “stand-up” with “hiding out”. Confusing “stand-up” with “getting caught”! “Stand-up” for what? Admitting his infidelities?! He only did that after first calling the reports unfounded and irresponsible. And after women started coming out of the woodwork and he was caught dead to rights.
Look, we’ve all made mistakes. We all have skeletons. I don’t think this is the worst guy ever or that he shouldn’t get another chance. Just don’t tell me the cat is “stand-up” because of the way he’s handled this train-wreck. Because, what he’s done is just the opposite.
Ron-Ron, love having you here in L.A and seeing the changes you’ve made in your life. But calling Woods “stand-up” is the equivalent of you having Kobe and Pau on either side of you on a three on one break and dribbling it off your foot out of bounds!
