Lane Kiffin…allow me to be the first one to say: “Welcome to Hollwood, Coach.” And to quote one of your new neighbors in Compton: “Ain’t no party like a West Coast party.” But you knew that already. Or, you wouldn’t have just jammed Tennessee as hard as you just did.

This really is unbelievable! First “Man-Ram”. Then “Ron-Ron”. And now Lane! It’s almost too good to be true. What’s next…Ochocinco signing with the NFL team we still don’t have?! The Clippers trading for DeShawn Stevenson and his “Linc”?! (By the way, ‘D’, you still are not getting the respect you deserve for that ink:best tat ever!)

Even for a game as nasty and filthy as college football, Lane Kiffin busting out of Knoxville for USC after just one year is incredible. Bobby Petrino thinks this cat has a crazy brass set!

Now, there’s no party going on in Vol country. Unless you consider a riot a party! And if I’m the Kiffin family, I wouldn’t be looking to re-enter the State of Tennessee any time soon. And by that, I mean ever again. And neither should his kids or their kids! Because, that was a jam job…straight up!

Students there were ready to riot last night…literally!!! And while I would never condone it, if ever there was a reason to do so, that would be it.

The guy comes in, talking all that junk, making all those promises, and blows out after just one year…right before national signing day. The Vols are screwed. No way A.D. Mike Hamilton can work the miracle Garrett just did with Kiffin. Kiffin just wrecked Hamilton’s career…if not his whole life. Hamilton completely lays out for Kiffin, rolls the dice, takes a crazy flier on him and this is how he repays him?! That is filthy. Throw punches, ask questions later, eh Lane?

It was nearly every NHL fan’s biggest dream and the Washington Capitals’ worst nightmare. League MVP Alex Ovechkin nearly got into a brawl with Tampa Bay’s Steve Downie last night. I mean, who outside of the Caps’ room didn’t want see that? They were into each other in the third period and then both went off for roughing. And no sooner then they get out of the box, they immediately look for each other, the gloves come off and it’s go time!

Ovechkin is going to throw! No he’s not!!! Because teammate Matt Bradley came flying off the bench and over to handle Ovechkin’s business for him. Goose bumps, Matthew! What a great leadership move. While not surprising, that was incredible.

Look, there’s a reason Ovechkin doesn’t fight. He’s way too valuable to the organization. They can’t have him fighting, ever, for any reason. And that’s why Bradley was willing to take each a punch or two for him. Ovechkin pays all their checks. And... More »
