Take(s):

Sickness Doesn't Change Lesnar

The biggest, baddest cat in MMA is back. UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar was hospitalized with an intestinal issue that nearly claimed his career and certainly changed his life. I mean, you can’t go through something like that and not emerge with a newfound perspective. Even as brash as this guy is, you cheat death, and you have to see the world differently and know that every breath you take is a blessing. Eehhhhh! Wrong.
He re-emerged yesterday, doing what he does best! Putting guys on blast and breaking them off.

When asked about his return to the heavy weight division, Lesnar went “Lesnar” saying, “I know one thing…all those guys are bleep-ing their pants right now.” I had the first interview with Ben Roethlisberger after he smashed his melon on his crotch rocket, but I don’t recall him saying, “I know one thing…the Patriots are bleep-ing their pants right now.”

Then again, ‘Big Ben’ isn’t paid to knock guys... More »

Greene Is A Great Story, But…

Now that Jets’ stud Shonn Greene is killing fools, the story about him enrolling in a junior college and working at a furniture store while going to Iowa is once again making the rounds.

Greene was pulling down 8 bones an hour back in ‘07 working at McGregor’s Furniture store. And as you might imagine, the guys back there are pumped to see him killing it now! Calvin Taylor, a McGregor’s supervisor who worked with Greene says, “…everybody’s loving it. We call it our own little ‘Rudy’ story.” No doubt. Just like Rudy. I mean look at these two cats! “Separated at birth”! Just like Rudy, except that Rudy was a walk on who got trucked daily in practice by guys on scholarship and was allowed to enter one game for two plays. A guy who was five foot nothing, a hundred and nothing and hardly a spec of athletic ability! While Shonn Greene, goes 5-11, 225.

Alleged Woods Photo At Sex Rehab

Well, you knew it was only a matter of time before someone snapped that first picture of Tiger Woods (it was so hard to get, that we can’t even show it to you). There’s probably enormous jack riding on that fiery snapshot of Tiger. And considering those photo-terrorist are part bounty hunter, part sniper and all parasite you knew someone would get one. And they did! At least I think they did…

I can’t confirm the miserable looking cat, in the hoodie-berka, outside the sex rehab clinic in Hattiesburg, Miss., is in fact Eldrick. But it sure looks like him! It sure looks a guy with an addiction to sex, who knows he had everything in the world just two months ago and lost most of it. Is this a global icon, a worldwide brand and world class athlete, or some hair metal washout who’s bunking with Gary Busey and Tawny Kitaen on “Celebrity Rehab”?

Meanwhile, “In Touch Weekly” reports Woods’ wife Elin will not take his phone calls. Why? Just... More »

Pro-Bowl This Year Is "Different"

Have you heard? The Pro Bowl is going to be different this year. Credit once again to “the shield”. No one has a tighter brand. Roger Goodell knew the game had become irrelevant, so he has decided to bring it back to the mainland and drop it in South Beach the week before the Super Bowl as opposed to after it. New decade! New Pro Bowl! And it’s going to be different. And by different, I mean worse!

At least that’s what the players think, because none of seem to want to play. Tom Brady’s out. ‘Big Ben’ said no thanks. Phil Rivers “peaced”. That leaves Matt Schaub and Vince Young as your quarterbacks in the AFC. Matt Schaub is nice, but he’s fifth in line. And ‘V-Y’ didn’t even start until halfway through the year. And because the game is before the Super Bowl, there’s a good chance you lose Peyton Manning.

And you know he loves the Pro Bow…if only for a chance to light up his kicker!

I don’t care when you have... More »
