A last second loss, on the road, to one of the best team in the east is no reason for Boston to panic. But it did serve as a reminder! They’re not young, or quick to react. And even with ‘K.G.’ back, terribly athletic. Then again, the freakiest athlete in the building did do that! Dwight Howard passing to nobody! “Oh-oh!” You know Magic coach Stan Van Gundy snapped when he saw that!

And the only thing more inexplicable than that pass was Vince Carter breaking out that undershirt. ‘V’, Khalid El-Amin called, and he wants his shirt back. Thought I’d shout out to you, ‘K’…it’s been awhile. So does Patrick Ewing! I know the Magic broke out the early 90’s “uni’s”, but why was ‘V.C.’ the only one who accessorized them? Why not just lace up some pump-kicks, compression shorts and rec-specs while you’re at it?!

There’s bitter, grumpy old men…and then there’s Fran Tarkenton. The NFL legend made it pretty clear during the season how he felt about Brett Favre playing for his old team. There’s not a whole lot of gray area, or room for interpretation in calling it “despicable.” But maybe after seeing him have an MVP caliber season and go to war in the NFC title game against Saints, Francis might have changed his tune. “Eeehhhhh!!”

Tarkenton couldn’t wait for someone to ask him what he thought about Favre’s performance so could say that stupid pick he threw cost them the game: “(The Vikings) were the better team. Their offense turned the ball over five times, the Viking offense. But still if (Favre) didn’t make that stupid play at the end of the game they would have won the game.” I think Tarkenton was more pumped up by that pick than anyone on the Saints’ sideline was. But he was just getting started!

Big question in Philly, is Donovan McNabb coming or going? Is he still the guy there or could he be on his way to Minnesota if Brett Favre shuts it down? Well, you can stop wondering, he’s not going anywhere! And that’s not speculation…that’s 100% fact.

And not because Adam Schefter’s Blackberry is blowing up with the report! Or Jay Glazer trains MMA with McNabb and got the inside story. No, with respect to those pros, this comes from an even more accurate source. A psychic! McNabb says, “…I have a psychic and she told me; she said, ‘good things are going to happen in Philadelphia and it’s going to be really good for you’.” There you have it! If a psychic says it, it must be true. And what a shock, that the psychic went with something as specific as good things are going to happen to you and it will be really good for you. Because that’s not vague or anything!
