I wonder if it was Fleischer's call for Woods to come back at Augusta, or if Woods and his agent came up with that all by themselves, because according to an A.P. report, that's what he's going to do. Because that won't be too big a circus! But not nearly the circus it would have been had he come back at Bay Hill as had been speculated. And that's why he's not doing it there.

Tiger Woods is a control freak. But the guys who run Augusta National are even worse. And that's why he's starting there…allegedly. So they can run interference for him; and weed out the tabloid media and the drunks in the gallery. You can't tell me, Billy Payne and his crew will be pleased if Woods makes his comeback there without getting in front of the media and answering some questions first.

"What it do!" The Minnesota Vikings are coming hard, but couldn't get LaDainian Tomlinson to sign anything before leaving, so now it's on to New York to rap with Rex Ryan and the Jets.

Look, 'Chilly's' "Chilly". And he did convince the 'Ol Gunslinger to come in. But I'm not sure he can outsell "Big Rex". Then again, he may not have to. Because as good as the Jets would be for L.T., the Vikes are even better. If it's about getting to the Super Bowl, the Vikings still have an easier path, and a better shot, especially if the 'Silver Fox' does come back. And there's no reason to think he won't, especially if he has a new Hall of Fame weapon at his disposal.
