Because as good as the Jets would be for L.T., the Vikes are even better. If it's about getting to the Super Bowl, the Vikings still have an easier path, and a better shot, especially if the 'Silver Fox' does come back. And there's no reason to think he won't, especially if he has a new Hall of Fame weapon at his disposal.

As for Tomlinson, apparently, we're not talking about him coming to catch a ball or two out of the backfield and to block for all day. Brad Childress says A.P. would "1" and L.T. would be "1-A". Smart. Even if we all know "1-A" is still "2", but people get that. Maybe Tomlinson will. And short of Ryan saying L.T. is "1" and Shonn Greene is "1-A", the Jets probably can't match that. Unless, they decide to throw crazy jack at him! And even then, it might not be enough for Tomlinson.
